About

Painting on patio bw - 1.jpeg
Ayesha DeLorenzo, based in Wellington, Florida, has established her creative sanctuary at home where she has lived for over a decade since relocating from Virginia. She finds herself immersed in the captivating allure of Florida's natural beauty, which serves as a profound inspiration.

Beginning as a photographer and digital artist, Ayesha’s artistic journey led her towards painting in oils, which she finds a more expressive and powerful medium for capturing her experiences as an observer of nature's beauty. She utilizes her own photographs as the foundation for her compositions, focusing primarily on seascapes.

Driven by her artistic objective to encapsulate the essence of the complete experience, she employs her reference photographs while instilling each piece with the vibrant hues of her vivid memory. While her artistic style leans predominantly towards realism, she enjoys painting in abstract as well.

Ayesha strives to transport viewers into a world where they can vicariously experience the profound beauty and captivating energy of the natural world, within the carefully crafted frames of her evocative paintings.

The paintings created by Ayesha DeLorenzo were introduced to me as I juried an art show and her work stood out as simply magnificent in capturing the very challenging subject of sky and ocean.  Not only the balance but the colors, the blending and motion were far more beautiful than anything I have seen in photograph or reality.  I will never look upon God's creation without thinking of Ayesha.  This gifted artist is a treasure to humanity.  Hopefully many will be fortunate enough to become acquainted with this amazing talent in the art world.

If I remember correctly I first saw Ayesha's work in 2020. She sent me some images of paintings she made 3 months after she started painting. I immediately knew we were dealing with a natural talent here. Not many people can handle a brush so confidently after such a short time. In the years that followed, Ayesha regularly sent me images of her latest work, and I tried to give her some clues. I saw how she grew into the painter she is today, with a great sense of color and light. I am glad that I was able to make a modest contribution to this.
